Council of Catholic Women (CCW)

The goal of the Council of Catholic Women at Christ the King is to promote spiritual and educational growth for

the women of the parish and also to provide social and service opportunities for members to use their talents to nurture one another and benefit the community.

About CCW: Council of Catholic Women at Christ the King is part of a nation-wide organization, the National Council of Catholic Women.  NCCW was founded in 1920 at the request of the United States Catholic Bishops to help with the many needs of society and the church at the time.  NCCW is a federation composed of over 5,000 affiliated Catholic women’s groups made up of thousands of Catholic women across the country.  Our Council is part of the Joliet Diocesan council and also the Eastern DuPage Deanery.


Every woman in the parish is automatically a member of the Council of Catholic Women and is welcome and encouraged to attend CCW meetings and participate in its projects and activities. We meet monthly, September through April.  Watch this website or the Parish Bulletin for more information about our programs and projects.
