From the Pastor's Desk - 4/7/2024

      Thank you for a beautiful Easter weekend. It was so nice to have so many of you here to celebrate Easter. Your presence and participation truly added to the beauty and power that Easter brings to us. Now, we are at the beginning of the “50” days of Easter; a time to reflect on the resurrected Christ in whom we place our hope. May this Easter season bring each of you a deeper relationship with Jesus.

     This weekend is also very special for us; it is somewhat new on the church calendar—Divine Mercy Sunday. It is today, one week after we celebrate Jesus rising from the dead, that we are to recall his great love and mercy for us. All we have to do is turn our hearts towards Jesus who gives us himself out of love. As we turn towards the Divine Mercy for guidance and encouragement, may we also become aware of the need to share the gift we have received with others.

     On Monday, April 8, we have another special day on the church calendar; The Annunciation of the Lord. We are reminded with The Annunciation and other important days that come along, that order is always in the forefront of our faith. This order should give us comfort in a world that doesn’t seem to have too much order today. May we always be aware of the love that God has for us, and the gift that is our faith in Him.
