From the Pastor's Desk...

Lent has begun. May the ashes you receive on your forehead be a reminder to walk humbly with the Lord. Jesus is our light in darkness, but we can only follow him, and truly know him if we are focused. Lent gives us a wonderful opportunity to slow down, look at ourselves honestly, and grow closer to him. May whatever you do this Lenten season be good for you. You may want to give up something you like. Maybe you will be doing something extra to make this holy time fruitful. Whatever it is, may God be with you as you journey these 40 days towards Easter.

Thank you for your attentiveness with our recent kick-off for the 2026 Annual Diocesan Ministries Appeal. This is an opportunity to connect with the larger church. Our Catholic faith has given us so much; and we must safeguard ourselves to never take it for granted. We have, through the Appeal, an opportunity to be active participants in the endeavors of our Diocese. First, your prayerful support is needed. Second, your financial support is needed. If you can do both, that is wonderful. Take time to think, and to pray about how you would like to be an active participant in what the Church calls us to right now.

Peace……Fr. Jeff
