From the Pastor's Desk - 8/16/2026

  Saturday, August 15, Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Mother. Mary, who is without sin, falls asleep, and is assumed into Heaven. Where Mary has gone, we too will follow. We are reminded that with death, we are born into eternal life. May we seek guidance from the Blessed Mother in our life here and now, so that we may be with her, the angels and saints at the end of our earthly life.

    There is much happening in our world today. I am reminded that much of our military is active right now. May we pray for world peace, and for the safety of all military personnel.

    Please remember to register your child for Religious Education, grades 1-8. Classes start after Labor Day! Also, it is good to pray for our children, young and old, as a new school year is about to begin.

May our children have good classes, and may they always be in safety.
