From the Pastor's Desk - 10/25/2026

The month of October is moving along, and in less than a month now, we will be concluding the liturgical year with the feast of Christ the King—and then we begin a new year with the first Sunday of Advent. I encourage you to pay attention to the changing seasons outdoors as well as the different liturgical seasons that the church celebrates. This all helps us to see the presence of a living, moving, active God. He always hears our prayers and is present to us.

We have recently had readings about mission work. The early church was able to grow because people had faith that was on fire. Because of that, the stories of Jesus were shared with one another, Eucharist slowly took shape, and the church was on its way. Today, we might take some of that for granted. The early church was not easy, and yet it has endured now for over 2,000 years! How might you, in your daily life, with the regular activities that you take on, be an example of Christ to others? Mission work is ongoing. I encourage you to look at the blessings you have been given. What makes you unique? How has God blessed you? How might you share His presence with others?

Please remember your Catholic faith is important. When your parents brought you to church as a baby to be baptized, it was their desire that you experience God, his son, Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit in your life. Every day is a fresh start for renewing your personal relationship with God. He is there for you. He loves you and cares about you immensely.

Peace……….Fr. Jeff
