From the Pastor's Desk - 12/14/2025

   I pray your Advent is going well for you. We are now at the halfway mark with this Sunday. The pink candle is lit on the Advent wreath, as a reminder that we are to “rejoice” for Christmas draws near! May you take the time to prepare your heart for the beauty of the Christmas season that will soon be upon us. God loves you, and sent His Son, Jesus to teach us and show us that love. I encourage you to look at your relationship with Jesus. He is there for you.

     Since I last wrote to you, Fr. Bob Coleman has gone home to the Lord. Fr. Bob was a good, holy man. I hope you personally at some point were able to talk with him. He was very unassuming, and wanted you to know all about Christ. He loved life, and he loved being a priest in the church. Fr. Bob sets a good example for us. Perhaps what I saw in Fr. Bob the most was his dedication and loyalty to God and the Church. It is not always easy to do, especially when one has health issues; and Fr. Bob had a variety of them. He pushed on, and knew that he was not alone—that God was with him. Perhaps as we think about Fr. Bob, we might learn from him, and see what he may have taught each of us about faith, and life. God truly blessed Fr. Bob.
