From the Pastor's Desk - 1/4/2026

    At Christmas we hear and remember the birth of Jesus. He is born into a family. His family is important. The family of Jesus helps him to grow and understand all the human ways. On this Epiphany weekend, we see him surrounded by Mary and Joseph; and the Three Kings, a symbol of the world family. Jesus shows himself to the world! Those who come to the stable “see” not only with their eyes, but with their souls. Humanity is forever changed. The Christmas story is beautiful, as we see the family, shepherds, and Kings, all coming together to reflect on what kind of miracle has taken place.

     I pray you have been deepening your relationship with Jesus at this Christmas time. It will soon be coming to a close. Our world needs to keep the light and hope of the Christ Child shining bright. You are children of God. God knows you and loves you. As we move further into the New Year of 2026, perhaps we can think of how we can share the great light of Christ in our world today.
