From the Pastor's Desk - 7/20/2025

    Thank you for your prayers and support at this time of shared ministry with Ascension in Oakbrook Terrace. With regular masses, and the funerals that have come up, it has been all working out. I am appreciative of your understanding as we move through all of this. The retired priests have certainly been a blessing!

    In this summertime, I hope you are finding God in all that you do. We tend to be more active and outdoors in the summer. May you know of God’s love for you as we enjoy this season—we know where we will be only 4 months from now—getting ready for Thanksgiving!. Every day we should be thankful for the blessings God has given to us; the spiritual and the temporal.

    Thank you for your attentiveness to Nick, our mission speaker, of last weekend. He enjoyed speaking to you about the mission school in Nigeria. His missionary work reminds us that we are all connected. Your prayers for the missionaries all over the world are important as they spread the gospel of Jesus.
